Anja grew up in Germany, where she studied fashion design and also started her career. After assisting at Petra Magazine in Hamburg, she moved to Munich to become fashion editor at German Elle Magazine. In 1999 Anja came to New York, where she is working as a freelance stylist for Magazines and commercial clients such as Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Victoria Secret, Moda Operandi, Nivea, South Coast Plaza, Intermix, Adidas, Black House White Market and others. Photographers Anja has been collaborating with it includes Sam Haskins, Tesh, Patric Shaw, Ruven Afanador, James Macari, Guido Mocafico, Thierry Le Goues, Jonty Davies, Benny Horne, Raphael Mazzucco, Elliston Lutz, Jeff Bark among others.
In the past 5 years she has worked as a consultant and stylist for Victoria Secret's young brand Pink.
Anja lives and works in New York.
