Tyler had no idea what was in store for him when, at 20 years old, he left Kentucky and moved to New York to take a job at Cutler Salon. This rising star's dream to make a name for himself in the freelance world quickly came together a few months after moving to New York when he was invited to join the styling teams of the legensd like Orlando Pita, Shay Ashual and Luigi Murenu to style shoots and countless shows for New York Fashion Week.
Tyler's styling approach is deeply rooted in his love for the silhouettes of classic hairstyles from the past and the moden textures and finishes of today. His unbridled creativity and positive attitude has made him a favorite for magazines like Vogue, Teen Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Paper, Creem, S and West Meet East, to name a few. His Southern charm has helped him win over celebrities like Chrissy Tiegen, Tina Fey, Meryl Steep, Allison Janney, Mariska Hargitay, and more.
For over eight years now, Tyler has been under contract with Unilever as a Brand Ambassador for haircare giant Tresemme. During his time with the brand, Tyler has starred in branded TV commercials, print ads, live segments for media outlets like E! News and countless digital branding videos used around the world. Tyler has also styled nearly 60 fashion shows spanning over 20 seasons with Tresemme as the official haircare sponsor of New York Fashion Week.
