Color Creative Director Ben Stewart has spent the past 14 years helping Rodney Cutler build the color department of Cutler Salons. He oversees the development of basic and advanced education for the salon, along with developing the creative vision for the company.
Ben specializes in creating dimensional colors that reflect the individual. He prefers colors to have a “lived-in” feel in order to never look overdone, creating blondes that look natural, brunettes that reflect light with dimensional shine and redheads that surprise with unexpected tonal variations.
Ben has worked on The Rachael Ray Show and Make Me a Supermodel; celebrities that have sat in his chair include: Gwyneth Paltrow, Martha Plimpton, Amy Robach, Abigail Breslin and Giuliana Rancic. Most recently he has regularly provided color services for Emma Watson, heralded in 2011, for her trend-setting color and style, including the New York Times naming it, “The Hairstyle of the Year.”
Ben has also worked on hair campaigns for Pantene, Tresemme and Clairol.
Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Ben became educated on coloring hair in the early 90's at Tony & Guy, as a member of their Artistic Team, followed by a short stint at Bumble & Bumble before joining up with Rodney.
